Petrotech Float and Tap Liquid Level Gauge basic principle is float connected to the measuring tape rises and falls according to the change of liquid level inside the tank. When the float falls, measuring tape is wound to the constant spring drum in proportion to the change in liquid level. When the float falls, measuring tape is released by the weight of float and this movement of float is transmitted to point scale plate by the gear mechanism.By coupling a transmitter to the dial, level alarm output and current output corresponding to the measuring range can be obtained.

Petrotech Float and Board Level Gauge is a simple economic level measuring instrument. It consists of scale board, pointer, pulley, pulley housing, connection pipe, wire rope, float , guiding flanges, process flanges, anchor plate. Top mounting brackets & side mounting brackets are provided to mount the scale board on the outside of the tank. Connection pipe, pulley, guiding flanges are mounted on the top of the tank. Scale board is also mounted on the side of the tank. Anchor plate is fitted on the bottom of the tank. Float is set to float on the liquid level surface.Float is tied with wire rope passing through the pulleys connected to pointer which rolls on scale board. Petrotech Float and Dial Liquid Level Gauge operating principle is based on the buoyancy of float and spring force. When the float rises and falls, the gear mechanism connected to the float and the spring moves to display the level on the front scale and an analogue signal is produced.When the tank is being filled or drain, the float rises or falls until the total weight of the float and the wire becomes equal to the total force exerted by the liquid buoyancy and the spring.

Petrotech Weld Pad Level Gauge unit is designed to be welded directly on to a tank or other liquid-containing vessel. Standard Level Gauge units are furnished with a flat bottom. Upon request, the unit can be machined with a cylindrical radius to match the contour of the vessel. The Level Gauges are available in single or multiple section types. It is common that weld pad level gauges are used in non-critical applications and in most cases, they are supplied without any form of isolation. It is possible however to supply weld pad gauges with a needle valve located directly on the chamber at the top / bottom which will offer a form of isolation from the process.Application:Highly viscous liquids, Liquids with suspended solids, High vibrations, Limited space where thermal error due to piping not acceptable or where conventional gauge glass is impractical.

Petrotech Reflex Level Gauge are designed to operate based on the difference in the refractive indices of Liquid and vapor. Liquid Flows through the gauge chamber behind the viewing glass located on only one side of the instrument and which is clamped to the gauge body. When liquid is present the glass will Appear black where it is in contact with the process medium and when no liquid is present the Glass is silvery or white thus the level can be seen.

Petrotech Transparent Level Gauge are different in design function to a reflex gauge as they consist of two flat transparent glasses where the light can enter or exit from the back to the front of the Gauge thus illuminating the liquid level which is contained in the chamber separating the two glasses. The liquid level is indicated by the different transparency of the two media.
